Reform of Global Studies Minor Approved

The Global Studies minor now features set thematic concentrations: 

  • Global Markets and Politics
  • Global Environment, Technology, and Health
  • Global Security and Development
  • Cultures in Exchange and Contact
  • Area Studies (Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, or Asia)

These concentrations will enable students to identify the focus most interesting to them and select course work that will help them better understand this dimension of global studies.

Global Studies 200 - Offered This Summer!

For the first time, Global Studies 200, "Global Systems and Cultures," will be offered this summer during the second summer term. The course will be five weeks long, beginning on July 1 and ending on August 5. The class will take place Mondays through Thursdays, 10:15am to 12:15pm.

The class will also be offered in the fall as well.
