Study Abroad for 2010
Imagine the opportunity to study abroad and experience unforgettable moments like the students above in the London Eye Ferris Wheel.
For 2010, the Global Studies Program will once again offer opportunities via the USAC Consortium (summer, semester, and academic-year programs) as well as the opportunity to study German for four weeks in Düsseldorf, Germany or art and art history in Cortona, Italy.
We will also a variety of short-term faculty-led study abroad courses:
FL 200S, FL 301S, FL 499S Intensive Spanish in Guanajuato, Mexico (spring registration; May 8-23, 2010)
GS 199/HY 399 Munich, Nuremberg, Berlin: Legacies of the Third Reich (spring semester, travel to Germany: May 9-22, 2010)
NUR 418/518 Global Health International Study (spring semester; travel to England: May 16-29, 2010)
FL 304R Russian Culture (summer registration; travel to Russia and Ukraine: June 1-12, 2010)
We also continue to make plans for a a three-week summer engineering program in June 2010 in Germany. This program will be in partnership with the German Aerospace Agency, and all engineering majors will be eligible to participate.
Participation in UAH faculty-led courses requires instructor approval and a minimum 2.5 GPA. USAC programs have additional prerequisites. Please check the USAC site for more details.
